What is occupational therapy?

Occupational therapy is a unique healthcare profession that is concerned with the ability of people to independently participate in their meaningful daily activities, or “occupations”.

Barb is a 1976 graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy. Barb has worked in many types of settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools and home health. She has extensive experience in working with hand –injured patients and custom splinting. She performs ergonomic assessments, functional capacity assessments and develops work hardening programs for our clients.
